Directions to the Wedding Crash Course -- which is held at Paulette's Ballet Studio, 190 Oak St., Newton:

• Via the Mass. Pike from the west or from downtown Boston: Exit onto Rte. 128 (I-95) South. Take Rte. 128 to exit 19A (Newton Highlands), which will merge you onto Highland Avenue. At the 2nd set of lights, turn left onto Oak St. The studio is immediately on your right. Park on the street. Enter the studio through the "secondary" entrance: As you face the studio's main entrance look for the iron staircase about 30 yards to your right. Enter via that door and make yourselves comfortable in the small waiting area.

• Via Rte. 9 from Boston: Take Route 9 west until you pass Chestnut Hill Mall on your right. The next intersection is Langley Rd., which occurs at a traffic light. About 1/2 mile beyond Langley Rd., exit at the "Newton Highlands" ramp (watch closely for the sign!). Take the ramp to the very end and turn left at the stop sign onto Center St. (which brings you under Rt. 9). Stay to the right until you fork to the right at the light, which is Needham Street. This is a long shopping strip. At your first light at the end of the strip turn right onto Oak Street and park and enter the studio as described above.

• Via Rte. 128 (I-95) from north or south of Boston: Exit at exit 19A (Newton Highlands), following directions as described in first paragraph, above.

• Via Galen St. from the Cambridge/Watertown/Brighton areas: From Watertown Square, take Galen Street until it merges into Washington Street at the top of the hill at Newton Corner. Follow the road to the left making a "U" around the Sheraton Hotel. Stay to your right immediately after coming around the hotel and make a right onto Center Street. Follow Center Street for a few miles through Newton Center. Center Street forks to the right as you cross Beacon Street in Newton Center, and you should take that fork, continuing on Center Street all the way until you pass underneath the Route 9 overpass at Newton Highlands. After passing underneath the overpass, stay to your right and fork again to the right onto Needham Street, which is a long shopping strip. At your first light at the end of the strip, turn right onto Oak Street. and park and enter the studio as described above.
