June 18:
Ballroom/Latin Dance Party at the studio, 7:30-10:30pm.
A great opportunity to learn and try out some new moves among friends! Singles, couples and beginners welcomeébring your friends and family and have a blast! Mini-lessons in Argentine Tango, Wlatz, Foxtrot, Salsa, and more throughout the evening. LIght refreshments served.

July 19-August 6
The Summer Dance Intensive will be held Monday through Friday, 9:15 am to 4:45 pm. Join us for a unique opportunity to study many different aspects of dance in a challenging and fun environment. Classes include ballet, modern, pointe/variations, stretch & strength, music theory, dance history, injury prevention, Gyrokinesis® anatomy, injury prevention and more! There will be a performance on Saturday, August 7.

Dancers should be of ages 12 and up with ballet experience. Students will be assigned as Level 1 or 2 (evaluation required for new students). The cost is Tuition is $450 for one week, $750 for two weeks, $1250 for three weeks (with performance). There is a 10% discouint if paid in full by April 24. Housing option is $300/week. July 5-9
The Young Dancer's Summer Intensive will be held Monday through Friday from 9:15 am to 2:00 pm and offer classes in ballet technique, stretch and strength, improvisation, rythym, story telling thru movement, and dance videos, with other social/interactive activities. This is for children ages 8-12 with or without dance experience. Students will be assigned as Level 1 or 2 (evaluation required for new students). Tuition is $275 for the week.

Modern Dance Fundamentals
with Ivan Korn on Saturdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Tuition is $140 for a 10-week series, $18 per single class. * Note: Ages 13 thru adult, must have dance experience.

Advanced Repertory Class Series
Taught by Mary Lee Karlins on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm, and by Ivan Korn on Saturdays at 2:00 pm

The Repertory Class teaches the students the skills of performing. The dancers in this class will learn a dance work choreographed by the instructor Mary Lee Karlins on Tuesdays or by Ivan Korn on Saturdays. In the final class session, the students will give an informal performance of the work they have learned.

This class is open to any dancer with experience who is enrolled at the Marblehead Scholl of Ballet in two or more technique classes per week and attends these classes regularly. The students taking the Saturday repertory class must enroll in Ivan’s technique class, Saturdays at 12:30 PM.

In addition, the repertory students are expected to arrive early at the repertory class, to warm up and are also expected to review previously learned material prior to each class. There will be 10 repertory classes and one final rehearsal before the performance. The workshop performance will be in December, date and time to be announced. The time and location will be announced. Tuition for one repertory class is $180, $306 for both.

Child Ballet Improv/Composition/Performance
Tuesdays, 5:15-6:30 pm. Leads to a workshop performance.

Let's Dance Together *
The "Lets Dance Together" classes are designed to develop coordination, stimulate imagination, and prepare children for later dance or sports activities, through interactive dance experiences involving both parent and child. Music and rhythms are a part of each class. Parents will learn a series for enjoyable activities which they can later repeat at home with their children. This class is for mothers, fathers or carefivers and children ages 2½-3½. Saturdays, 9:15-9:45 am.

Partner Dance Classes *
Argentine Tango, Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Salsa!

Skater's Clinic *
Saturday, 1:30-2:30 pm.
