It gives me great pleasure to list this CD first before all others on
DanceNet. When one thinks of Glenn Miller, images of a crowded dance floor
in front of a truly great band promptly appear. While there have been many
other albums and CD's featuring the Glenn Miller Orchestra, this is the
first (and hopefully not the last) that was recorded with modern digital
recording machines that filtered all the hisses and pops that eventually
came with vinyl records. This CD features the best of Glenn Miller, all his
classics, in his original arrangements on a pristine recording medium.

I suppose it's sacrilegious, but Tuxedo Junction is suitable for WCS. In The Mood and A String of Pearls are always good for picking up the crowd.
