This page covers mostly places within a few miles of Boston, though it might stretch all the way to I-495. If you're looking for something in your area (outside of Route 128) and you don't see it here, try looking north, west, south, or way west (western Massachusetts) of Boston.

Note that some venues close during the summer or whenever they feel like it. If they don't get listed on the Boston dance calendar , it means they didn't send a note saying they'd definitely be open on a particular date. It'll be a good idea to call them or check their website.

The Boston Swing Dance Network

St. James Armenian Hall in Watertown (intersection of Mount Auburn and School Streets) Swing

Running swing dances since 1986, this venue features different band each month (no dances in July & August). Beginner lesson at 8:00, dancing until midnight. Check the calendar for specific dates.

On the first Thursday of the month is Stomp, a lindy hop dance/practice from 9:00 to 11:00 pm. Cost is $3.
