This webpage offers information on (swing) dancing in that are in the 413 area code. You can jump to the western MA calendar below. There are a bunch of venues over the border in New York, over in the Tri-City area, not to mention all venues south in Connecticut.

Any events and venues listed on this page can be cancelled without notice. Note that some of them are suspended during the summer. Lindy League of Western Massachusetts

Dances on the fourth Saturday of every month. The Lindy League also hosts workshops with regional and national instructors.

Fourth Story Stomp

Dances on the 4th Saturdays of every month. Beginner & intermediate lesson from 7:30 to 8:30 pm (rotating teachers); dancing from 8:30 to 11:30 pm.

Places to Go Dancing

Wednesday Swing: West Coast, Lindy Hop and East Coast
Northampton Center for the Arts, 17 New South Street, at the corner of Routes 9 and 10, Northampton.

First Monday Dance

Friday Night Swing Dance

Performance Spaces for the 21st Century, 2980 Route 66, Chatham, New York. 518-392-6121. Monthly dance on a Friday, lesson at 7:30pm; dancing at 8:00.
This is an outdoor venue and their season runs from June to September.
